I purchased a pair of Bull-it SR6 jeans last spring (already had a pair of the SR-4 cargo pants prior) as part of my riding gear. It was recommended to me by a post on the motorcycle subreddit (reddit.com/r/motorcycles) On Monday May 2, 2018, a driver pulled out without looking and I ended up in a low side. While I didn't slide but rather rolled along the pavement while thinking about what a crappy situation that all was, your jeans saved my hide (literally). My tumble on the pavement ate through the front of the jeans and the front pocket (where my wallet was). Luckily my wallet is made from two pieces of steel banded together, which took the brunt of the scraping afterward. The armor (purchased elsewhere, D3O) held up in pockets on the jeans as well as the Covec. I walked away with a small patch of road rash on my left hip where my belt must have got caught. Just want to say thank you for doing what you do, I've been reminded to be vigilant and am grateful to be able to write this to you. I am currently in the process with my insurance to get my bike fixed up and my gear replaced, but in the meantime I will look for another pair of Bull-it jeans.
